Epikeia is an ancient Greek concept — the idea that there are moments when the rule, applied strictly, fails the spirit of justice it was meant to serve. We chose this name because Skincerity is that kind of exception. It doesn't compete with existing skincare categories. It created its own. Twenty years later, nothing else works quite like it.
